First Official Letter Sept. 26, 2013

We waited 9 days to find out when p-day was.

Sept. 26, 2013 1:04 Humility much??

HELLO MY FAMILY! Okay I don't have a long time, and the spanish computers are super weird! But I have been dying to say that today.. THURSDAY is my Pday! I am sorry if stuff is spelled wrong I am trying to type fast. Okay, first thing, my compañera! Her name is Hna Buys! She is really nice and sweet. I am going to try sending you some pics, and I  hope they come through this email. Next is Mexico!! HOLY Beautiful! I cannot get over it! It is so green, and we live in a PARADISE HERE! Although its RAIN season! haha, its insane how much it rains! The streets are literally full everyday, like RIVERS AND PONDS flooding the streets, and do I have rain boots?.. haha no, but thats okay! I LITERALLY LOVE IT HERE. All of the workers are hispanics! Heck even my own roomates are MEXICAN! Right here from Mexico city! ahaha! THEY ARE THE BEST! I love them" They hardly speak ANY ENGLISH! So, before I get to my Casa, I wanna talk about Mexico, we just got back from the TEMPLE!... It is BEAUTIFUL! Its like an aztec TEMPLE! but.. white, and it literally stands out FAR more then any other temple stands out at all! Because surrounding it is GRAFFITI, literally everywhere, on every building and all of the buildings are COLORFUL! Like soooo colorful, like fuisah and blue and literally every color of the rainbow! Next, my CASA! (house) we all live in mini houses! The CCM (MTC) is 91 square acres, and its TOTALLY fenced off! and we have literally our own village here, there are 5 cuartas per casa, and total there are 41 casas! Its incredible! In our cuarta there lives 4 girl, me and my comañera and the two Mexican Hnas. THEY ARE AWESOME! I wanna be there best friends so bad! They hardly speak English and we hardly speak Espanol! So, in our room there is A LOT of broken spanish, a LOT of laughing, and A LOT of dancing! It is AWESOME! Tell Jacob... they call me Sindy loowhoo.... From the grinch that stole Christmas, they love my hair that I do every night, and one of the Hermanas and I are MARRRY KAY sisters, and we say ohhh MARRY KAY! (you have to roll the r of course).. and they LOVE me because one of the only things I can say, is BONITA! and they LOVE it! They say it just like me every time we see each other! Ah I LOVE THEM! Hna PEREZ, and Hna Batalla. Next is Food, IS AMAZING! totally authentic Mexican food, like for example, they had Cactus, it tasted like, and looked like soggy Aloe Vera, it was even slimmy when you picked it off your plate! And hahaha, this is funny, they have All Bran for Breakfast! hahahahahahahaha... laughed at that one! Oh and for dessert, tell Brooke they have BREAD PEANUT BUTTER and NUTELLA; and I have one every night... yep soooo bad for me! okay, there is so much to say in so little time, next is my District! They are awesome! Holy cow! I love them! We all work really hard, and have fun! They other hnas in our district are going to Chicago as well! Hna Hatch and Hna Pearson, Hna Hatch and I go running at 6 every morning and then we all work out in the middle of the day during scheduled gym time. Next, Espanol.... wow, its so hard to learn a language, holy cow. I cant even describe it. It is so hard, we have lessons every day all day, and at night we have to teach a 35 minute lesson ALL IN SPANISH, to an investigator, yeah, so much broken spanish. But good news is, I gave him the first vision, all from memory, man I cant describe how hard it is, to look at someone and want to say something but can't because you can't speak it. But everyday I remember new things, new phrases, and really its amazing how fast I am learning! That's why I love it! I love spanish! Its a beautiful language, OUR family needs to learn it! haha. holy cow I am trying to hurry. That's not even half of everything I want, or need to say! haha, I got your letter Mama! if your trying to Dear Elder me, I haven't gotten anything because, it takes about a week or two to get here. Hmmm, what else do I want to say, first is, is I am not sleeping very well at all, its so weird, but I LOVE The schedule, and I LOVE being a missionary! Its so amazing seeing literally HUNDREDS of missionaries ALL THE TIME! AHH I LOVE IT! Ps, mama I sent you a letter, it will get here in three weeks ish, its has WAY more detail than this! Second is I have been sooo humbled, like every hour of the day I am humbled, just when I thought I couldn't get more humbled, bam I am more humbled. I have learned so much! We have had so many incredible devotionals, One from Elder Scott, and Elder Bednar (all broadcasted)... Wowo wowow wowow.. SOOOOO good. Next is, I haven't even read your emails but I hope the family is doing good! I am going to read them all now, and I am going to send a letter home! because I can do that and get more detail in! .... These have been my goals this week, Humility (haha, that one comes  right away) charity, "for without charity we have nothing" and OPEN YOUR MOUTH! ... and THEN IT SHALL BE FILLED, ACT and then... blessing... not Fill your mouth so it can be opened! I read that scripture the first night I got here! Next is, that I miss you all so much. I want you all here to experience this with me! I cry at night literally because I miss my family.
